RAIL A 100
The rails are rolled according to DIN 536 - 1. DIN is the abbreviation for German Industrial Norm. The DIN determines the deviation permitted on the dimensional attributes and the range of chemical elements present in the steel composition. These rails were developed with a wide short web allowing for large loads comparatively to the rail head size. The rails are rolled at ArcelorMittal in Poland, Luxembourg, Ozkan in Turkey and at British Steel in the UK. They are available in lengths up to 24 meter and grades 690 and 880 N/mm.
